Art Therapy is a form of psychotherapy that harnesses the power of art-making to support health, healing and well-being.
In psychodynamic art therapy, the creative process offers a safe and containing space to explore your inner world. Through visual and sensory expression, it allows access to underlying thoughts, feelings, and experiences that may be difficult to articulate in words.
Art therapy values both verbal and non-verbal forms of expression, held within the safety of a supportive therapeutic relationship.

Who Can Benefit?
Art therapy can support individuals of all ages, including children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly, and can address a wide range of emotional, psychological and physical needs (see list below). No prior art experience is required, as our focus is on the creative process and self expression, rather than artistic skill or technique.
In my therapeutic practice, I adopt a person-centred, trauma-informed approach in order to meet the unique developmental concerns and experiences of each age group — offering a safe non-judgmental space for reflection and exploration.
